TUMKUR – II REZ POWER TRANSMISSION LTD
Tumkur – II REZ Power Transmission Limited (“TPTL”) was incorporated on December 13, 2023. Tumkur – II REZ Power Transmission Limited entered into a TSA dated September 03, 2024, with the CTUIL. The letter of intent for development of TUMKUR – II REZ POWER TRANSMISSION LTD was awarded to G R Infraprojects Limited (“GRIL”) by the REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited on August 12, 2024, for a 35-year period from the scheduled commercial operation date, on a Build, Own, Operate and Maintain model.
TUMKUR – II REZ POWER TRANSMISSION LTD IN THE GRID
Tumkur – II REZ Power Transmission Limited is a crucial project for evacuation of renewable energy to the extent of 1.5 GW from the Tumkur region of Karnataka. The asset consists of a 2000 MVA substation to be connected to the existing Tumkur (Pavagada) Power Station through a 400 kV (Quad ACSR moose) double-circuit transmission line~27 Km, enabling efficient integration and evacuation of renewable energy from the region.
